We're all affected by roads being closed during construction projects and special events. Our goal is to serve as close to your stop as possible without major delays in your trips. We appreciate your patience as we work with our community partners to find solutions that can work to get you where you need to go as conveniently as possible.

  • Special Statement from MTA regarding Michigan’s Stay Home, Stay Safe Order

Special Statement from MTA regarding Michigan’s Stay Home, Stay Safe Order

The public transportation Flint MTA provides is an essential service, therefore it is not subject to shutdown per the Governor’s order. MTA encourages all of its passengers to follow the Governor’s order and to stay home and stay safe unless you are providing or accessing critical services, such as grocery shopping, picking up medications, attending medical appointments like dialysis, or traveling to work as an essential service employee. If you need transportation for these services, MTA is open and available for you to use.

During this time of emergency, MTA is also using its resources to assist other organizations in their increased need for food delivery to Genesee County residents who are unable to leave their homes even for their basic needs.

We also take our drivers’ and other staffs’ safety very seriously and are instituting every possible option to keep them safe and minimize anxiety and risk during these uncertain times. We thank you for supporting MTA and we will continue to communicate with you throughout this unprecedented situation.
